This company offers a wide range of sibling-looking cars in the Philippines, but they don't overshadow each other visually. 

Chery Tiggo 2 looks nearly identical to the 7, but smaller with an LED headlight, DRLs, and a less shiny front grille. Though the design of this variant isn't very inspired, they are much easier to follow through with in comparison to their other versions.

 

The new side profile is more interesting, though not very unusual. Some nice touches make it stand out, like the 16-inch aluminum wheels, 186 mm ground clearance, and black cladding that prevent dirt from getting stuck when driving off-road. 

Finally, there are some cool faux vents on either end while maintaining overall protection against splashes from rainwater. Chery Tiggo 2 colors also come in 7 variants to work well with a variety of different styles.

The car's back is more rounded than the front and features a chrome garnish. The small door with a large lip may throw you off from its angular shape, but overall, it's not flashy and has some elements that could be seen as unusual. 

The LED lights inside the red housing are a nice addition to this turn-signal and rear-mounted fog lamp garnish. The good news is that you also get two rear fog lamps for increased visibility in any situation.

The Chery Tiggo 2 interior is a spacey surprise, with many colors and types of plastic available for the touch. Though not exactly what is best in holistic aesthetics, this vehicle still has functional portions. It does make sense with its segment and price point.  

With five people sitting on the seat, it's fine but a little too small for them. However, with just four seats in your car and two rows of seats facing forward or backward - there's plenty of space to move around freely without feeling crowded!

The upholstery isn't a premium material, but we like all those adorable accent stitches that give this vehicle some personality traits everyone needs nowadays.

The steering wheel provides accessibilities during city traffic jams and comfort while on highway journeys since wrapped leather helps reduce slipping effects.

Comfort

This car is just about suitable for the Metro Manila roads. It's not the most comfortable; the ride is alright but could use more chassis rigidness. A unibody chassis helps give us a clearer view of what the vehicle can do. 

Even with heavyweight and NVH issues, a torsion beam in the rear and a rather unimpressive suspension make the ride not too bad. It's average when it comes to comfort in driving, but we still had fun.

In terms of technology, this version is pretty standard.

This is the most impressive part about how safe you'll feel in this vehicle. Other cars costing more money can't even come close to having as many safety features as this model. These include:

In the city, we managed 7.5 km/L in rush hour and around ten km/L when traffic finally subsided; on highways, 15 km/L is a decent result for this car class! It's understandable why these figures are quite high if you consider this car’s weight.
